Sometimes a site really is down, and sometimes the problem is closer to home. A few quick checks tell the two apart.
Quick checks
- Try it on your phone with Wi-Fi turned off. If it works there, the problem may be your internet connection.
- Try another browser, or ask someone elsewhere to try it.
- Look for a recent email about renewing your domain or a declined card. An expired domain is one of the most common reasons a site disappears.
What to tell us
- The web address you tried.
- What you saw: an error message, a blank page, someone else’s page. A screenshot is best.
- When you first noticed it.
Even if we look after your site and may already know, tell us anyway. A second report never hurts.
